Trial Details

07-08 Aug 2010 'Hakboslaagte', COLIGNY
This trial was the last of the Dog of Year trials. A small entry due to the closeness of the Nationals which made it difficulty for people to travel. However this lent to an intimate and very relaxed atmosphere. The sheep (Landskape) proved a real test to the dogs. Dogs with no push soon lost the sheep as they headed home. But some good runs were seen as handlers and dogs took control. Judge Hennie Ferreira judged in a practical no nonsense way. The course aws not easy. A dam on the right and lots of bushes and long grass on the left. Dogs had to keep their heads to control the sheep.

Well done to our hosts for holding this trial despite the entries. All who attended had a good time.
