This is the first time this writer has seen such a beautiful venue. On the Eastern Head with the Indian Ocean below on one side and the Knysna lagoon on the other. What more can one ask. Despite windy weather, sunny on the first day and showers the 2nd, the Cape public again showed their interest in the trials. It was great to be cheered and clapped on! Our hosts, John and Sue Duthie were very welcoming and hats must be raised to the team Philip for their extra hard work in making this trial such a success. The sheep were one year old Dorpers ewes. They were very yesting the first day fleeing down the valley. The second day saw them settled and more willing to be manipulated by the dogs! Sometimes one thought the fresh coastal air put a sprint into the dogs feet. Well done to our Junior Qualifiers Chris and Elsie who own littermates. We look forward to further trials at this amazing venue.
