If you are looking for a working dog, please contact the office as there are often dogs available to approved homes.

Please ask the breeders you approach about their dogs' working ability, and ask to see videos or to look at the dogs working livestock. Most Border Collies and Kelpies have herding instinct, but this is not a reflection of their ability to work livestock. 

 

Indien u n hond wil aanskaf om lewende hawe mee te werk, vra asb. die teler uit oor die werksvermoë van die honde en vra ook om die honde te sien werk en om videos te sien van hoe hulle werk. Die meeste Border Kollies en Kelpies het herders instink, maar dit is nie n aanduiding dat hulle wel met lewende hawe kan werk nie.
